Yes. We are fully licensed and insured in Florida for landscape installation services, and documentation is available upon request. If you live in an HOA, most likely the Board of Directors will ask for us to have a certificate of General Liability and a Certificate of Workers Compensation with the neighborhood's official name as an endorsement. These are things we will provide to you within a day of asking. They will also want a copy of our county tax certificate, which we will provide.
We typically require a deposit to reserve materials and schedule your job, with the balance due upon completion. Larger or phased projects may involve additional milestone payments. Most of our projects are in the $2500-10,000-range and just comes down to a deposit for materials and then a payment at the end for labor provided.
For most residential front or backyard projects, timelines range from 2 to 4 days once scheduled. Plants are installed (7, 15, or 25-gallon), and maturity for trees and hedges varies based on price ceilings, but most designs look full from day one. We can also space for long-term growth or instant impact your choice.
Yes we source most materials from trusted, local nurseries and suppliers across the Treasure Coast. We will occasionally travel farther south, or have things shipped from other parts of the state when needed to obtain the best quality plants. We hand-pick plant specimens to ensure top quality and consistency. It usually doesn't cost us anything extra, and the small effort it takes makes our clients that much happier with the results.
Most of our plant selections are drought-tolerant once established, but we can coordinate irrigation upgrades or smart-timer installs through our irrigation partners. We also help customers reduce long-term watering costs by grouping plants by water needs (a practice called hydrozoning).
We work with a wide range of Florida-friendly and native species like Coontie, Simpson Stopper, Firebush, Fakahatchee grass, and more. For clients seeking color and impact with low upkeep, we often blend Ixora, Clusia, Robellini palms, Plumbago, and Liriope - all prover performers on the Treasure Coast. You can see more examples of highly resistant plants that Mednick Landscape recommends.
Very well. With over a decade of hands-on experience in Martin and St. Lucie counties, we design landscapes that thrive in Florida's unique subtropical conditions. We consider salt tolerance, wind resistance, soil type, and seasonal rainfall in every install.
Certainly! We're happy to share references and showcase examples of past projects so you can see the quality of our work. You can also check out reviews on various other review sites. We've been around since 2012, and have a track record in Martin County and Saint Lucie as being a landscape service that cares about and stands behind their work.
We keep an open line of communication throughout the process. You'll always know what's happening and can easily reach us if you have any questions or changes. We are easily accessible by text, email or phone...our clients are always happy with our response time and our desire to be helpful.
Yes, absolutely. Mednick Landscape is fully licensed and insured for all the services we provide, ensuring peace of mind for our clients. We have higher limits on our General Liability policy to account for HOA requirements, and carry Workman's Compensation as well as being licensed with the state and counties we work in.

We're not just landscapers - we're designers, problem solvers, and partners. Mednick Landscape is a family-owned business with deep local roots, known for our professionalism, beautiful installs, and clear communication. We treat your yard like it's our own. Most of the clients that I've worked with over the past 12+ years are people who I am still in contact with on a somewhat regular basis.
We specialize in HOA-compliant landscaping, including scaled drawings and plant lists for submission. Many of our clients come to us specifically to handle the HOA approval process from start to finish. Most of our designs will qualify as a "Florida-Friendly Yard" in the University of Florida's "Florida Friendly Landscape Program". Furthermore we always coordinate with Sunshine 811 to have all utilities marked. HOA's will also require certificates of General Liability Insurance, Worker's Compensation, and a Tax Certificate which we will have available to you and endorsed as the Board of Directors require.
Absolutely. Drainage is one of the most overlooked but essential elements in Florida landscaping. We install French drains, swales, and shell pathways as needed, and always grade planting beds to manage runoff and protect foundations. Most plants do not like having "wet feet", and this is a commonly overlooked part of planting for many homeowners.
